Singapore CSA joins Five Eyes in publishing advisory on frontier AI cyber risks as national responses converge after Mythos

Singapore’s Cyber Security Agency published Advisory AD-2026-004 on frontier AI cybersecurity risks, noting that frontier models can reduce the time required to identify vulnerabilities and engineer exploits from months to hours. The advisory sets out hardening measures for organisations, including remediation of all critical and high-severity vulnerabilities on internet-facing systems before frontier AI tools make automated exploitation routine. The CSA advisory is one of several national cybersecurity authority responses to Anthropic’s Mythos announcement, joining advisories from the Australian Cyber Security Centre, UK NCSC and the US Center for Data Innovation. The convergence of national cybersecurity authority guidance from multiple Five Eyes and partner nations within three weeks of a single AI capability announcement has no precedent and signals a shift in how frontier AI is treated as an operational threat rather than a theoretical risk.
