BRINC Drones has opened a new factory in Seattle that more than doubles its previous production footprint. The expansion will increase output for its existing drone product range and enable production of a new DFR platform, the Guardian.
BRINC reports that in 2025 it tripled revenue and increased monthly production capacity fivefold. The company attributes the facility expansion to demand growth it could not meet within its previous space.
The Guardian DFR drone is designed to launch autonomously in response to a 911 call. It carries imaging sensors and Starlink satellite connectivity, which allows it to operate when cellular networks are unavailable. It is intended to provide situational awareness to responding officers before they arrive on scene. Guardian is designed to fly farther, faster, and longer in mission-critical environments, offering more than 60 minutes of flight time. When paired with Guardian Station, its roboting charging nest, the system enables fully automated battery swapping and automatic payload loading, supporting 24/7 readiness without human intervention. This also allows Guardian to adapt to any mission, loading in payloads such as AEDs, Narcan, EpiPens and more.
