The EU Horizon Europe SALUS project has commenced operations with a €5 million budget to address IoT security challenges facing law enforcement. The project combines Digital Twin infrastructure Software Defined Network architecture and AI-powered forensic capabilities for real-time IoT threat detection and evidence collection. SALUS will be validated through five pilot use cases with five police authorities and two critical infrastructure providers including hospitals and nuclear power plants. The project runs from November 2025 to October 2028.
