German technology company Jenoptik announced the GardoVia automatic license plate recognition system featuring high-resolution imaging with integrated infrared lighting for day and night operation. The system uses deep learning software to achieve enhanced capture rates and can recognize international license plate types. Available in fixed lens and motorized zoom versions, GardoVia is designed for stationary and mobile police applications, speed monitoring, border control and civil security operations. The ALPR cameras can monitor multiple lanes simultaneously and integrate with existing traffic infrastructure.
