The 11th European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) took place October 6-9, 2025, in Warsaw, Poland, with 39 teams representing EU Member States, EFTA countries, and EU candidate countries. Team Italy secured first place, followed by Denmark in second and Germany in third. The competition featured Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges covering hardware security, web and mobile security, cryptography, reverse engineering, binary exploitation, and forensics. Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that cybersecurity is now a pillar of state and citizen safety in an era of hybrid warfare.
