ENISA publishes 2025 Threat Landscape report highlighting escalating cyber threats to EU

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity has released its 2025 Threat Landscape report analysing 4875 incidents from July 2024 to June 2025. The report reveals that DDoS attacks dominated at 77% of incidents whilst ransomware groups have decentralised operations following major law enforcement actions. State-aligned threat groups have intensified cyber-espionage campaigns against EU telecommunications and manufacturing sectors using advanced tradecraft including supply chain compromises.
