The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) published its 2025 Threat Landscape report, analysing 4,875 cyber incidents from July 2024 to June 2025. DDoS attacks dominated at 77% of reported incidents, with phishing remaining the primary intrusion vector at 60%. The report highlights that public administration (38.2%), transport (7.5%), and digital infrastructure (4.8%) were the most targeted sectors. Hacktivist activities, particularly from NoName057(16), accounted for 39.3% of attacks on the manufacturing sector. The Cyber Resilience Act introduces mandatory security requirements for digital products to address these systemic vulnerabilities.
