Axon to acquire Prepared to bring AI into 911 call handling

Axon announced a definitive agreement to acquire Prepared, an AI‑powered emergency communications platform used by 1,000+ agencies. The deal aims to fuse multi‑modal 911 data (audio, text, video, GPS and translation) into Axon’s ecosystem to accelerate response from call to closure. Closing is expected in early Q4 2025, subject to customary conditions.
